
If you want to have a good nights rest you should probably invest in a good mattress. If you are sleeping on an old, uncomfortable bed, chances are you might be waking up a lot, waking up with sore muscles, kinked neck or bad dreams. They say you should go no longer than 10 years with your mattress. I had a mattress that literally dipped in the middle from where I always slept.
They have some awesome mattresses now. I like the pillow top mattresses. What I did was add a memory foam on top of my mattress which basically allows your body to get comfortable as it forms around you. A great mattress coupled with a dark room will help you sleep so much better. The darker the room the better for me. I cover my clock and dvd player so that green LED night doesn’t show. Another thing that helps me sleep better is to go to bed at the same time each night and get up at the same time each morning, that way my body clock stays regulated. Keep the temperature in the bedroom no higher than 70 degrees F.
