
Both my brother and sister have been having problems falling asleep and staying asleep. My sister went to see her naturalist when she was having difficulties sleeping and he recommended taking melatonin. She would put between 20 and 30 drops under her tongue and wait 30 seconds before swallowing. Her naturalist said if she took too much in the beginning it may cause her to have bad dreams or nightmares.
For whatever reason the drops just didn’t seem to work for her. Not long after she gave up on the drops, my brother started having problems sleeping. He was literally laying in bed, unable to sleep all night long. She told him to try the melatonin drops, because maybe it would work for him. The first time he took it he was able to sleep all the way through the night. He did mention that he had a few hallucinations, like seeing people watching him. But that quickly passed and he is still going to take the drops since it only happened the one time.
