Insomnia is a complicated disease. It can be caused for a myriad of reasons, and the lack of sleep can quite frankly disrupt just about any part of your life in general. It can be caused by times of greater stress, which is extremely common. Of course, you can’t always just address the stress problem. It can over time lead to problems such as depression and anxiety though. In addition, it could actually follow depression or anxiety rather than being a contributing factor.

But over time, it goes around in a vicious circle in that particular case. In addition, it could be caused by more natural factors. For example, you could be drinking too much caffeine right before bedtime, exercising too late, or something of that nature. However, in more serious cases, it may be a neurological disorder. The most serious form of this neurological disorder is extremely rare to say the least. It only occurs in a few families worldwide. However, other forms that just require sleeping pills among other things are more common in general terms. With those, you can try natural cures such as melatonin. However, it depends on your body and the way it reacts as to what steps you will need to take in general terms to see your success.
